Item Description

Up for sale is a Greco Mercury Bass PB-500.

Based on the serial, it is estimated to have been made in 1978. The pegs are dull, but otherwise in excellent condition. The unique hard sound of the maple neck gave the impression of easy control with a bass amp. There is slight clear peeling on the back of the neck due to use, but there are no major dents on the body, indicating that the previous owner had taken good care of the instrument.

The current string height is approximately 2.8mm on the 4th string 12F and 2.5mm on the 1st string for smooth playing. Overall cleaning, electrical check, and nut adjustment have been done. No noise on each control and output jack. The neck is not currently warped and can be adjusted in the future.
